While there are thousands of vendors producing sensors for the Internet of Things (IoT) industry, there’s no single interface connecting them all. This is a major challenge for the IoT industry. TeamViewer IoT — software that allows you to connect, monitor and operate machines and devices securely from anywhere — aims to fill the gap with their platform for monitoring and controlling sensors. In a TUMO Labs project with TeamViewer Armenia (TV), students will get acquainted with a set of sensors and integrate them into the TV IoT platform using a variety of their APIs. Additionally, students will write a program that retrieves data from each sensor and an accompanying data visualization component.
Students are expected to work 12 hours per week on the project.
Students should be available for meetings with the project leader on Mondays and Wednesdays in order to review the project’s progress.
Every Friday, students should be available for mini-workshops where they build their knowledge in topics related to the project.
Meetings and mini-workshops will take place online until TUMO Labs reopens. Participants must be available to eventually continue the project in person at our location in Yerevan.
